The Perfect Puppy Program - A Puppy Playhouse Exclusive!
Puppies must learn housetraining, basic manners, bite inhibition and how to be friendly to people and other animals before they are about five months old. With so little time and so much to do, it's no wonder so many puppies end up being unruly, ill-mannered adolescents before their owners know what has happened.
The minute your puppy comes home, the clock is ticking! If you don't have the time to meet these essential needs, don't worry. We're here for you!!
At the end of The Perfect Puppy Program, your pup will have:
*Visited the beach, the city, the country, local stores, the skatepark, a nursing home, the park, the groomer, and more
*Met kids, teenagers and adults of all ages
*Met at least twenty friendly, safe dogs of various ages and sizes
*Learned where to pee/poop and what is okay to chew
*Learned to sit, down, stand and stay when asked
*Learned to walk nicely on leash
*Learned not to guard food bowls, bones or toys
Here's how it works...
Age 8 -12 Weeks (First Half): Your puppy comes home! I will meet with you, in your home, once a week for the first month that your puppy is home or until your pup is 12 weeks old. I'll make sure you're getting your pup off on the right paw with housetraining, in-home socialization, crate training and beginning basic manners.
Age 12 -16 Weeks (Second Half): Now that it's safe to get your pup out and about, I will do the work of socialization and training your pup while you do whatever you need to do during the day. I will pick your pup up from your home for a two day sleepover each week (two full days, one overnight). During these sleepovers, your puppy will meet many new people, visit new places and meet other dogs. I will also be polishing your pups basic manners as we practice sit, down, stand, stay, loose-leash walking, bite inhibition, resource guarding prevention and more. Upon returning each week, you will receive a 30 minute training session with handouts and homework to keep you busy through the next week.
By the age of 16 - 18 weeks, your pup will be heading into adolescents with everything he/she needs to succeed as a pet dog. The Perfect Puppy Program is guaranteed for the life of your dog. This means that you will always be able to contact Cindy for free training advice should you have any issues down the road. Additionally, you will receive a 25% discount on any future training classes you may take with The Puppy Playhouse.
